Automatic Power Factor Relay Panels (APFC) are available with us for Automatic Power Factor Correction.
Generally APFC panels are specified in KVAR ratings. We supply these panels is different ratings and are off the shelf products.
APFC panels are complete with MCCB / Contactors, wiring, and are ready to use at site.
These panels are provided with electrical protection like over/under current/voltage, surge, etc.

Harmonic Filters are combination of Inductance (Reactors) and Capacitance (Capacitors). They are also generally referred as Reactor protected Capacitors.
These harmonic filters are of three types viz
1. Partially tuned filters
2. Tuned filters
3. Detuned filters
These filters are custom built and are relay-based systems. The rating is ascertained after a full harmonic study.
We undertake harmonic study of any plant and design, install, commission full range of Harmonic Filtration system.
However for certain types of applications like fast changing load conditions, real time thyristerised filtration systems are needed.
We can also supply real time power factor compensation systems (R T P F C) in that event. These R T P F C are thyristerised-switching panels.

4. In case of heavy jerk load applications there exists a possibility that the capacitor bank may bulge (enlarge) or bust.Here caps have additional upper lid for such cases.This may at most harm one capacitor, which can be easily replaced.So the whole capacitor bank need not be replaced.
5. The size is compact.
6. ll capacitors of any rating are all of the same height.So ease of mounting and assembling a capacitor bank. E.g. In case we need to construct a capacitor bank of 10 kvr,10kvr and 5 kvr, since they are of the same height, it results in ease of construction.
7. Capacitors have special surge suppressors, which are in-built inductors, to avoid high in rush current while switching on the capacitor bank.
