Qualification & Experience
BE(Mechanical) with 5 – 8 years experience in Quality Assurance from an Engineering industry ( Preferably in Supplier Quality Assurance function).
Profile
A) Knowledge of mechanical measuring instruments, measurement methods & GD & T.
B) Knowledge of problem solving techniques & root cause analysis.
C) Supplier quality management.
D) Supplier rejection analysis.
E) Conducting in house shop process audit as well as supplier process audit.
F) Attending shop floor quality issues & initiating actions on non conformities.
G) Preparation of Quality Assurance Plans.
H) Knowledge of manufacturing processes, calibration systems.
I) Knowledge of standards ( i.e. IS & BS standards ) & SPC tools.
J) Supplier communication regarding quality issues & other concerns.(i.e tooling ,
process change etc.)
K) Managing all routine QA dept. activities.
L) Routine meeting with supplier for quality issues.
M) Knowledge of Non destructive testing ( NDT Testing ).
N) Familiar with ISO systems.

Ensure process and plant quality for reducing supply base BIS to 10000ppm levels.
